The 1 watt UHF CLP1043 radio has four channels, is easily programmed, and will even work with a Motorola repeater. The CLP 1043 is designed to be easy to use. To talk, just press the large PTT button. There are no speakers, knobs, or switches. Instead, most of the radios options are controlled by voice driven menus and small buttons located on the side of the radio. Each radio uses a headset that comes standard. The headset has a PTT button and adjustable cord with an external earpiece designed for comfort. The radios antenna is internal as well for even more convenience. When in use, the LED ring around the top logo will glow to indicate the current channel, transmitting and receiving, scan, and battery level.
